Here’s the view from Hong Kong Island facing north towards Kowloon and the view from Kowloon facing Hong Kong Island at night. This Saturday I’m partying on the top floor of the big one in Kowloon. Serious Fist-Pump. It is the International Commerce Centre. 118 floors. The world’s fourth tallest building.
The view is pretty incredible. Every night they have a laser light show set up on a lot of the buildings. I’d love to see their utility bill. Its well worth it to show off. Total Peacocking. The pissing contest these buildings get in to – between being the tallest or most neon-sparkly is indicative of the general environment amongst the business and finance part of the city. “I’m a peacock, you gotta let me fly.”
